Erin Mackay

Erin Mackay is the director of the Indigenous Art and the Law project at the Indigenous Law Centre. Erin has taught Public Law at UNSW, and has volunteered and worked at the Indigenous Law Centre for several years. She was previously the editor of the Australian Indigenous Law Reporter (now Australian Indigenous Law Review). As editor, she oversaw the transition of the publication from a law reporter to a forum for extended commentary articles on Indigenous legal affairs.
Erin is also a legal officer at the Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC), where she has worked on reviews of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Commonwealth secrecy laws, and the Royal Commissions Act 1902 (Cth). She is admitted as a lawyer in the ACT Supreme Court.
